All in all the CV Show had a real buzz around the place and from talking to others on the stands and through twitter it is being said the this years CV Show saw vast improvements in the number of visitors and the overall atmosphere of the Exhibition compared to the previous operators show’s that replaced the CV Show back in 2009.

The great yellow, black and white LINE-X stand had plenty of visits and excitement from those whom wanted LINE-X sprayed either in their personal Vans and Trucks to those higher in the food chain wanting to have LINE-X incorporated onto their fleets of vehicles.

A large amount of the bigger automotive brands and bodyshops showed plenty of interest in the LINE-X spray applied product so hopefully follow up sessions with those interested should hopefully see LINE-X progressing into new fleets of vehicles, bodyshop convertors and higher volumes of retail work for all LINE-X Dealers around the country.

First day back from the CV Show and LINE-X National Sales Manager Neil Tweedie is already following up on major leads generated at the CV Show. This will be a process that will go on for a few months, having demo days, visiting potential clients and talking through all the finer details of the LINE-X advantages.

Here is what Neil had to say about the CV Show:

“The 3 day event has gone down as a great success, we have generated plenty of strong interest in pushing LINE-X to next level as well as capturing plenty of retail work for our already established dealers around the country. We are looking towards a very busy yet productive future for LINE-X ”

The LINE-X stand showed the advantages of LINE-X spray applied coatings by exhibiting two Commercial Vehicles lined with the durable coating plus four different colour Truck Beds showing off the colour matching possibilities available when spraying LINE-X.

The two vehicles in question were a Derby Fire And Rescue Pick Up Truck, kindly supplied by BOTT Ltd (LINE-X Ashby de la Zouch) and a British Gas Dyno-Rod Van kited out by Bri-Stor Systems Ltd (LINE-X Staffordshire). These two examples really showed the quality of the LINE-X liner and two different reasons for needing LINE-X incorporated into the vehicles.

The Fire and Rescue trucks have a large amount of equipment consistently moved back and forth from the truck to the rescue scene. LINE-X offer a high durable coating that can easily take the impacts and abrasions of the equipment being moved in and out of truck there for protecting the substrate of the pick up as well as protecting the Equipment. Another strong advantage of the LINE-X coating is the low maintenance needed to keep the liner clean. LINE-X provides a consistent watertight seal that can easily be power hosed down.

The Dyno-Rod Van holds a large water tank and generator needed to power hose blocked drains. The solid watertight membrane of the LINE-X protective Coating prevents any leakages or spills from the tank effecting the substrate of Van. The LINE-X liner can also withstand the contact of most chemicals such as bleaches, diesel and petrol the may creep onto the liner.

LINE-X were also bringing attention to their stand with their new anti bacterial additive that can be incorporated in their spray applied polyurea coating to form an antibacterial liner that has been proven to reduce up to 99.9% of MRSA and E.coli with in a 2hr period. The LINE-X Anti-Bacterial Coating is an ideal interior lining for Ambulance’s, waste-refuse trucks and all other transportation dealing with the possible infestation of bacteria, by preventing the bacteria’s growth.
