LINE-X Protective Coatings is pleased to announce that when their latest revolutionary spray on polyurethane coating was submitted for fire testing it was awarded a Class 1 rating in BS 476 part 7, surface spread of flame.
In the USA this very same product has just been accepted as meeting the requirements of the Mine, Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Standard Application Procedures for Acceptance of Flame Resistance Solid Products taken into Mines. Acceptance Marking No. MSHA IC-249.
This revolutionary new product will not only protect mining equipment from the hazards of everyday wear and tear, it will also provide complete corrosion protection.
Whilst moulded or cast polyurethane coatings have long been the standard for the mining industry, LINE-X XS-252 is the first Spray-On product to meet the MSHA regulations. The advantage of spraying LINE-X XS-252 is that customers will be able to apply the product to any type of mining equipment, regardless of shape or size.
The LINE-X XS-252 is the first of several specialist products being developed to meet the demands of various industries. LINE-X XS 252 joins the long list of products that LINE-X offer including their World leading Spray-on Van and truck lining product, the “Food safe” product and the WRAS approved Potable Water product.
