Paxcon UK Ltd in conjunction with Paxcon USA will be the sole UK tendering authority for the Paxcon range of Blast Resistant spray-on products. The Paxcon UK/USA alliance will enable both M.o.D. and civilian contractors wishing to utilise the Paxcon range of Blast Resistant products to make just one call to Paxcon UK listing their protection requirements. The Paxcon alliance will then evaluate the type of application and thickness required to achieve the desired protection. The evaluation process will take into account the condition of the existing substrate and the preparation required to enable the Paxcon products adhere permanently giving the full benefit of retrofit protection
The Paxcon application will be carried out by the specially trained Paxcon applicators under the strict supervision of Paxcon UK. The Paxcon Blast Resistant products are specially formulated two-component mixes which when sprayed onto the required surfaces and is touch dry in just 3 seconds
Paxcon was created and developed by the Line-X Corporation in the USA. Line-X, best known for its worldwide network of sprayed on truck bedliner dealers, is constantly looking for new and innovative uses for its many polyurethane/polyurea-based products. It is this pioneer spirit that led them to the blast mitigation industry.
Paxcon is already being used on the walls of the US Pentagon, the Washington D.C. Naval Base and the Federal Courthouse in New York City.
