LINE-X Spall Lining
The most common LINE-X application within the Military sector is their ‘Spall Lining‘.
LINE-X offers a protective spall-lining (px-2100) that is sprayed onto equipment and body armour such as breast plates. The LINE-X spall-liner is tougher than steel but has the ability to flex. The flexing of the LINE-X coating absorbs the impact of the bullet, stopping the bullet from fragmenting, therefore preventing spalling.

LINE-X Automotive Coatings
LINE-X’s standard automotive coating is also used within the military sector, protecting vehicles and other valuable assets from impact damage and corrosion. LINE-X automotive coatings provides fantastic protection from road chips, small abrasions, chemicals, water and scratches.
PAXCON Blast Mitigation
Another of LINE-X’s applications includes ‘Blast Mitigation’.
Although DVD2016 will be more focused on our other applications (automotive coating and spall lining), there will still be information regarding Paxcon Blast Mitigation.
PAXCON PX-3350 was recently tested against a Simulated Post Room Blast. Watch how the PAXCON prevented both a brick and block wall from an internal explosion. PAXCON was only coated on the external walls and was NOT fixed or anchored on the sides of the wall. Both walls stayed completely in tact with minimal deflection.
