LINE-X Protective Coatings Ltd has surged from strength to strength in 2006.
The year started with the appointment of Daryl Bidwell as the UK Sales Manager, a move which has helped to nearly triple the LINE-X network and give LINE-X an increased nationwide coverage.
At the end of March we moved to a new purpose designed 10,000 square foot building on the prestigious Roundswell Business Park, in Barnstaple.
In April we attended the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham for the 1st time with tremendous results; in fact we have booked a stand 50% bigger for the upcoming year, so if you would like the meet with the LINE-X team, why not visit us at Stand 4581, 24-26 April 2007, and see for yourself why LINE-X is the UK’s fastest expanding high pressure spray-on lining company.
In April we opened our first Welsh dealer in Ammanford, South Wales, and then went on to open others in Nottingham, Taunton, Darlington, Wokingham, Carlisle, Wadebridge, as well as an industrial dealer in Taunton.
In October we were awarded ISO 9001 certification. This certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the Government and recognised world-wide, this award shows our commitment to ensuring our status as the UK market leader.
In November we appointed Damien Daly as our Irish representative to promote LINE-X into Ireland, we look forward to making an announcement about our first Irish dealer in January 2007
