2004 REVIEW

posted in: News/Updates 0

2004 has being an exciting year for us all here at Line-X Protective Coatings Ltd. It started in August when we signed the contract to obtain the Master distributorship of the Line-X range of products throughout the United Kingdom, by the middle of September the first consignment of Line-X products and state of the art application equipment had arrived. By the 1st October the first UK Line-X dealership had opened in Tiverton, Devon

In the middle of October we started our campaign to raise awareness of the Line-X brand with a strategic marketing plan aimed at recruiting entrepreneurial business people with the foresight to become authorised Line-X dealers.

The response has been excellenct with several potential dealers making the trip to Line-X (Tiverton) Ltd to see how it’s done and trying out the application process for themselves. Everyone has gone away impressed with how easy they found it to apply the Line-X in both even coats and consistent texture.

We expect to announce the appointment of several new dealerships early in 2005, as discussions are in the final stages with various interested parties.

Negotiations are nearing completion with a major financial institution to obtain a pre-approved finance package for all our potential dealers. We anticipate making an announcement shortly.

Our eye catching website has attracted lots of attention both here and in Europe, we would like to thank all our guests whom take the time to visit our site to find out more information about the Line-X Advantage.

There are still dealership opportunities available throughout Europe so if you are one of our regular European visitors and you would like to know more about becoming an approved Line-X dealer then please contact our corporate office in Santa Ana, California.

The chancellor Mr Gordon Brown is obviously a fan of Line-X with his commitment to allowing crew cab pickups to remain in the commercial sector for company car taxation rules, thus offering substantial savings in taxation over company cars, this combined with the V.A.T. office confirming that the VAT will remain reclaimable on crew cab pickups will certainly help to make luxury crew cab pickups more common place and probably one of the fastest growing sectors in new car sales, this can only be good news for Line-X and our dealers.

Everyone here at Line-X Protective Coatings Ltd feels that the reception that Line-X has received here in the United Kingdom in just 3 months has given us the foundation to make Line-X the runaway success story of 2005 that we all feel it deserves to be.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers past, present & future a Happy Christmas and a very prosperous New Year
