We are delighted to announce that LINE-X has returned to Pick Up Truck Racing, proudly sponsoring Team Rogers #69 Truck, which has been transformed with LINE-X Black and Yellow livery, driven by Lee Rogers.

LINE-X wanted to be associated with team Rogers as they are such enthusiastic, high-spirited people, who are fun to be with and show a genuine love for their sport. This is demonstrated in all aspects of the team and they are great fun to watch.

Team Rogers Truck will be exhibited on stand 4K10 at the 2013 CV Show 9th-11th of April. To register for your free ticket, visit www.line-x.co.uk/cvshow2013-tickets.

The first race meeting of the season for the LINE-X truck will be held at Brands Hatch in Kent on the weekend of the 20-21st of April 2013 and there are further events through out the summer across the country as such iconic British venues including Brands Hatch, Donington and two visits to the 1.5 mile banked oval super-speedway at Rockingham.

So why have LINE-X decided to sponsor a Truck in Pickup Truck Racing?

The Pickup Racing events are fun, exciting and full of action! Pickup Truck Racing separates it self from other types of racing events by making all drivers compete on equal terms; the specifications of the trucks are tightly policed and the best drivers have to start at the rear of the grid. There are two races per event, with top speeds of 140 mph!

As Pick Up Truck racing grows LINE-X want to be there, supporting and being part of this popular and thrill seeking racing series.

A message from the #69 Driver, Lee Rogers

“this is great news for us as a team and also for Pickup Truck Racing. Lee Smith, the Managing Director of Line-X UK has always been very passionate about the Pickup Truck Racing championship and we invited Lee and his wife Helen to our end of season track day at Rockingham in November and without needing too much persuasion, Lee Smith jumped at the chance for a few ‘hot-laps’ in the passenger seat of our #69 truck and after that he was ‘hooked once again’ and the deal was done. Not only will the support from Line-X help us this season, we were also very impressed by their plans to promote the truck and the championship through their various marketing campaigns planned for the year. Welcome back Lee, Helen and Line-X UK team. We hope you’re ready for an exciting season ahead?”.
